You’ve Been Booed! Halloween Fun and Free Printable

My neighborhood is full of young families with lots of little kids running around which means a super fun Halloween night for my kiddos.  They love to walk around and go door to door and chat with friends, check out everyone’s costumes and fill up their goodie bags.  But I like to get the festivities started early.  I love to “Boo” my neighbors and spread some holiday cheer.  Below you can print off the “You’ve Been Booed” free printable.

While I have been hanging out in Montana with my family, I decided that it would be fun to “Boo” my grandparent’s neighbors as well.  They live out in the country on a long dirt road that doesn’t see many visitors.  A lot of them have been living out here for decades and have formed strong friendships.  And I mean, when it looks like this in the mornings, wouldn’t you stay too?  (I took this picture on my phone with no filter just standing on my grandparent’s deck…it’s just that awesome here!  If you look closely you can see one of the horses.)

I made a quick trip to town to hit up Walmart for some supplies.  I was on the hunt for enormous bags of candy so that I could fill up good sized buckets for everyone.  I hit the jackpot with these Large Variety Hershey Candy Bags!

My kids were drawn to the fun characters on the bags, so they chose the Hershey Green Monster Variety Bag and the Kit Kat/Reese’s Miniatures Variety Bag.  Apparently there is also an exclusive Halloween orange Reese’s featuring the message “Boo,” which would have been perfect, but our store was sold out.  Everyone else liked it too!  🙂

We found some cute little pumpkin buckets and grabbed a couple of dollar items to throw in as well.  A cute holiday notepad, some window clings and a fun spider were all we needed.

Who wouldn’t love to open their door to see this yummy treat sitting on their front porch?!  What a fun way to let your neighbors know that you care.
