I will be the first to admit that I love food and I doubly love to receive homemade goodies as a gift. Not only did someone think of you, but they spent their time to make something just for you. Love that! This fudge is perfect for gifting! Not only was it super quick and easy to pull together (I even had all the ingredients on hand – you might too), but who doesn’t love fudge?! You can garnish with any kind of candy or sprinkle that you can think of, so the sky is the limit. Here is the recipe:
- 4 oz. semi sweet chocolate
- 4 oz. white chocolate
- 8 Tbsp butter
- ¼ cup water
- 1 pkg (3.9 oz) chocolate instant pudding mix
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- Prepare an 8x8 baking dish by lining with foil.
- Microwave chocolates, butter and water in a microwave safe bowl until chocolate is melted (about two minutes). Whisk in pudding mix and continue stirring for 2 minutes. Add powdered sugar, one cup at a time, stirring until well blended. Press into prepared baking dish and let refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
- Lift foil out of pan before cutting into pieces.
I topped my fudge with some holiday colored M&Ms, but some Andes mints, peanut butter or cinnamon chips or sprinkles would all be great options as well. Don’t they look adorable in this sweet little cloche? Are you looking for some more holiday treats?
