Keep Your Preschooler Busy…Guilt Free

This is a sponsored post campaign with Mums the Word Network and Chalk Preschool.  All opinions are my own.

Hey friends, I’ve got some exciting news for my fellow preschool parents.  I have found a way to keep my preschooler stationary and busy, and I don’t even have to feel guilty about it!  I know, unheard of, right?!  There are so many days where I need to get things done and my little tag along four year old wants to play games or do a puzzle and I end up plopping her in front of the TV so I can get 20 minutes to myself.  It’s horrible, and I hate myself a little more each time it happens.  That’s why I am so excited about the amazing preschool curriculum and preschool lesson plans that I found at Chalk Preschool.  It is an online program that is totally FREE to you!  Between the daily lesson plans, the corresponding printables and the super fun crafts that change each day, your child will become totally immersed.  The lessons are in video format, using bright, vivid colors and happy, catchy songs.  I was amazed to find myself sucked in as well by the fun “teachers” and the unique approach to learning.  My daughter, Emmalynn, was completely hooked from the word go.

After quickly setting up a free account you are able to access the preschool lessons, an area for free play as well as the “parent portal” where you can find a section for parent learning and advice.  Then your child is free to explore all that Chalk Preschool has to offer.  There is even a Play All function that would come in handy if your child is still new to finding their way around a computer.  Yesterday Emmalynn worked on our spare laptop next to me in my office while I worked on my laptop.  She was happily dancing around the room while singing with the videos and loving every minute of it.

Just look at the fun colors!  You can almost feel the excitement just through the pictures.  It’s incredible!

There are other great ways to connect with Chalk Preschool as well.  You can like them on Facebook, check out the Chalk Preschool Blog, and the Chalk Preschool Newsroom is full of info.

I am loving the opportunity for my daughter to learn, but more than that, she is loving to learn because she is having such a good time.  What a great foundation for her education!

Emmalynn learned about painting with cotton swabs in her art lesson for the day, so she completed the craft as well.  Bonus: more time for me to get my work taken care of while she was busy learning!

Please make sure to check out Chalk Preschool if you have preschool age children or know someone who does.  Even if your child already attends preschool, this is a great supplement for keeping them engaged at home.  I know that Emmalynn and I will continue to enjoy it together!
