“I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for Littlest Pet Shop. I received a sample to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating.
Holy cow, my two daughters were so darn excited to host a Littlest Pet Shop screening party with their best friends. They were literally jumping up and down because they love the show and the toys so much and know that their buddies do as well and could not wait to have a whole afternoon to celebrate it.
Recently the toys underwent a major overhaul and are so far beyond what they were before (and we loved them then!). The new line of Littlest Pet Shop toys allows kids to “be who they wanna be” by giving them choices and options on how to customize the toys for themselves. By adding the style sets together you can even make a downtown city. It is totally up to you how to decorate, design and even create the city, by stacking vertically or horizontally to design your own skyline. There are tons of pieces that you can use to decorate with, also known as Deco Bits that just plug right into the environments. Plus the added fun of stickers and of course 100 plus new pets that can be collected!
For our screening party, the girls were able to assemble and decorate the style sets while watching the video “Littlest Pet Shop Sweetest Pets.” The assembly of the sets is easy enough that even my five year old can do it, so there’s no need to worry about staying up all night on Christmas Eve, if you know what I mean. We’ve all been there!
It was hilarious to hear all of the girls immediately start singing the theme song as soon as it popped on!
We offered “little” cupcakes and some yummy Italian cream sodas for our treats and used some of our pet friends to decorate the table with. The cream sodas were such a winner that I wanted to share the recipe with you!
- 1 cup club soda
- 3 Tbs flavored syrup
- 2 Tbs half and half
- whipped cream for topping
- Add club soda, flavored syrup and half and half to a glass and stir together. Add whipped cream and serve cold.
The girls were able to fill a small polka dot take out container with some Skittles and a pet of their choice to take home with them.
And they loved how cute Blythe’s Bedroom Set looked as table decor.
We were all really impressed by the super fun app available as well. You can find it on Apple and Android products, where can bring the pets to life on screen (you can even use the ones that you own…my kids are obsessed with this!).
Have you ever thought about hosting a children’s screening party? We had such a blast with ours and now I can’t wait to do it again!
