I know that I use the word “obsessed” a lot…I fall in love easily and just can’t help myself. But this time I really, truly, 100% am head over heels bewitched by Jamberry nail wraps.
My first experience with Jamberry was when I went to Haven in July. In a room full of hundreds of bloggers, all of whom are up on all of the current trends and fads and who were dressed to perfection, being complemented on your mani / pedi is a pretty incredible feeling. I wore the mint green chevron wraps with one haute pink accent finger per hand (and opposite on my toes) to add some excitement. People were stopping me left and right to compliment me and ask me about my nails. It was incredible!
These days, who has the time…or the money!…to get their nails done once a week? Jamberry wraps can last up to two weeks on your fingers and 6-8 weeks on your toes! The best part is that you can get two manicures and two pedicures from one sheet of wraps.
They are super simple to apply, check out the process here:
Step 1: Clean bare nails with nail polish remover followed by an alcohol wipe and then wash hands with dish soap to ensure that you have removed as much oil as possible, then push back cuticles.
Step 2: Match fingernail to the nail wrap that fits it best. Keep in mind that it is better to have a wrap slightly smaller than your nail than larger as it won’t adhere correctly if it is on skin.
Step 3: Peel nail wrap off backing and heat using either the Jamberry mini heater or a hair dryer. Heat about 3-5 seconds until the wrap becomes flexible.
Step 4: While the wrap is warm, apply to fingernail and push firmly around the edges. Use a cuticle pusher to seal around the base of the cuticle.
Step 5: Trim the excess off with nail scissors and file remaining wrap, making sure to use a downward motion so you don’t file the design off!
Step 6: Apply heat and pressure once more to finalize seal around the edges.
And because I love you all so very much, I want two of you to win a half sheet of wraps (that’s one full mani and pedi!) each with all the goodies needed to apply. You’ll get an orange wood stick cuticle pusher, nail scissors, alcohol wipe, nail file and a Turple Ombre half sheet. I can’t wait for you to try Jamberry wraps and fall in love like I have done. To enter, just make sure to leave a comment letting me know what your favorite wrap is. Since there are over 300 designs, it can be a bit overwhelming (you’ll want them all!), so you can check out the current most popular designs to get you started.
In fact, I really do love Jamberry so much that I have decided to become a Jamberry independent consultant! I want to spread the news on this amazing product with everyone I know! And even everyone you know! If you would like to host a Facebook Jamberry party (all the hostess benefits without any of the work!), I would be over the moon ecstatic to help you out with that. In fact, I am offering yet another giveaway…this one reserved for hostesses of Facebook parties booked with me. The winner will receive their choice of either a mini heater or their favorite sheet of wraps. Yay! Email me at downhomeinspiration@gmail.com for more info.
