30 Minute Full Body Kettlebell Workout

I shared with you all recently that I have been working out with a trainer for the past 5 months.  For years I have been dabbling here and there with at home workouts and trying to stay semi in shape, but when I hit the big 3-0 last year I decided that it was time that I make the commitment to myself to really try to be in the best shape of my life.  And as I am only two weeks shy of rolling over to 31, I can happily say that I have achieved and surpassed that goal.  Do I still have a “mommy tummy?”  No doubt, but I’ve also found muscles where I didn’t even know I was lacking and have truly come to discover that when I stick with it, I really love to work out.  And I am hoping that by sharing some fitness tips and work outs with you all here and there, that some of you might be inspired and help keep me accountable!

Kettlebells are one of my favorite workouts because you can tone your whole body with just one little piece of equipment.  I will include step by step pictures as well as a video below to show you how to complete this 30 minute full body kettle bell workout so you’ll be ready to rock that bikini this summer.

For this workout, spend a couple of minutes stretching or rolling out before you get started.  You could also do some jumping jacks or jump rope to warm up your body.  Then set a timer for 30 seconds of work with 2-3 seconds rest between exercises to allow time to get into the next position (there are lots of interval timer apps out there).  Do the entire exercise six times through, allowing yourself a 30 second rest after each set.

Please ignore the nerd faces below and watch the video if you need directions on how to perform each move.
