My kiddos were so excited to find some fun Minion’s themed Mott’s products while we were walking through Food Lion the other day. We picked up some themed applesauce and juices. Adorable, right?
Ours were pretty easy to find. The juice was in the regular juice aisle, at the very top and the applesauce was in the canned fruit aisle. I let the kiddos grab their favorites and we were off.
At home, we searched for yellows and blues that we could add to the lunch to help it match our Minion friends. The kids chose blue corn tortilla chips, dried bananas and pineapple, fresh blueberries, a Mott’s applesauce and a turkey and cheese English muffin sandwich.
To create our Minion sandwich, we grabbed a slice of cheddar cheese and cut it into a circle the size of the English muffin. We then sliced a mixed berry fruit leather for the goggle strap and mouth and added a googly eye for fun. Please note that my kids are old enough to understand to not eat the googly eye. If you are making a similar lunch for a younger child, an olive or a sugar eye would be a great alternative.
I love feeding my kids a healthy lunch that is also fun for them. And using Mott’s juice drinks, which have 40% less sugar than fruit juices (Mott’s Fruit Punch Rush and Wild Grape Surge have 15g sugar and the market average of 100% fruit juices and blends have 25g sugar) and Mott’s applesauce I know that I am doing just that.
This adorable, limited time only packaging is available through July 31st, 2015, so be sure to grab some before it’s gone. And in addition to the fun themed packaging, Mott’s is launching three new Minion inspired and approved flavors (Strawberry BA-NA-NA applesauce pouches, Tropical BA-NA-NA applesauce cups and Tropical BA-NA-NA juice drinks.
Take a look at a whole lot of fun ideas for using Mott’s and then be sure to visit them on Facebook and Pinterest.

This is such a cute lunch box idea! I know my kids would all be excited to find this at lunch time. Great idea to keep with the color theme for Minions. #client
