There’s nothing like a piping hot breakfast when there’s a chill in the air. That’s one great reason to try this super yummy ham and cheese hashbrown casserole, but once you taste it you won’t need any more arm twisting. This is a quick and easy dish to put together and is perfect for company or just as a nice pick me up for yourself. This only calls for seven easy to find ingredients and has basically zero prep time. It’s best to make the night before so that the flavors have a chance to combine which makes your morning that much easier to just throw your prepared casserole in the oven and relax.
- 16 oz. frozen hashbrowns
- 1 can (10.75 oz.) can cream of potato soup
- 1 can (10.75oz.) can cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½-1 diced onion
- 1 cup diced ham
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix together. Press into 13x9 baking dish. Cover and let set in fridge overnight.
- Cook for one hour at 350*
Just look at that yummy melty cheese as it comes out of the oven!
This is one of those recipes that you really must try for yourself. You’ll love the ease and you’ll adore the taste!

Thanks Christopher, hope you enjoy!
Am I supposed to uncondense the soup? Or just dump it from the can and leave it that way with no extra water. I’m making this for tomorrow morning so I hope I get a reply back in time or guess correctly. Thanks, it looks yummy 🙂
Hi Jen, just dump the whole can in without adding any water. It will be thick while you are mixing it all together, but it makes a great binder. Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks 🙂
