I have wood treated with a white primer. The structure is near the pool, so I really want a patina looking wood…is that possible?
Kelly, I would definitely try it out on a scrap piece before committing to a large area. I would first use a brown paint to paint over the primer (use the paint instead of stain) then use the top color. Be super careful when sanding, so you don’t go beneath the brown. But again, I would make sure to try it first!
