Well that’s a mouth full to say…chocolate, cranberry, pistachio, quinoa granola.  The truth is that when I eat granola, I love for it to be layered with lots of yummy flavors, so the more words to say, the better. As I have been working hard to clean up my diet as much as possible lately, I find my sweet tooth still acting up and throwing cravings my way often.  To help combat that, I have been sneaking in a little chocolate, which is my kryptonite, here and there.  When I ran across DOVE® Fruit at my local Walmart last week, I knew that they would be the perfect, better for me treat. And when I added them to quinoa granola the combo was incredible!  What a great way to start the day off on the right foot and not feel as though I am depriving myself. dove-fruits-quinoa-granola-1

Okay, first thing is first.  Run to your closest Walmart and make sure to grab all three flavors of DOVE® Fruit…trust me, you’ll want them all!  They have blueberries, cherries and cranberries.  All real whole fruit covered in a yummy chocolate layer.  Delicious!  And here is a coupon just for you to make it extra sweet!  Just click on the photo below.

I mean, when they look this yummy, it takes all of my willpower to not eat the whole bag in one sitting!

And because I don’t want you to get lost on the way, here is a quick iPhone photo of exactly where I found them in my local store.  They were located in the Seasonal/Candies aisle.

My kids and I love to eat granola over Greek yogurt, but it is also so delicious in a bowl with some almond milk.  And the bits of chocolate covered cranberries make this recipe perfect for dessert as well! dove-fruits-quinoa-granola-2
