As much as it pains me to admit it, I am horrible at drawing. I’m not talking about drawing a portrait, I’m talking about stick people. How can I not even make stick people look right?! It drives me bonkers!
But I have figured out how to draw a perfect spiderweb. And there are only three steps, so it is easy enough that even I can make it work!
Are you ready for the secret? We are going back to basics here. If you can draw a circle, you’re good to go!
Step 1: Draw a circle in the center of the paper.
Step 2: Draw lines from the circle to the edges of the paper. Think back to the way you drew a sun as a child.
Step 3: Starting from the outer edges of the paper, draw an arc from one line to the next and continue all the way around the paper. Once done with that section, move further down towards the center and start this step over. Continue until you are satisfied with the look of your spiderweb.
You’d better believe that there will be hand drawn spiderwebs all over my house this fall. Mostly just so that I can say that I drew them!
