Holiday baking is one of my favorite pastimes. I am one of those people who cannot have cookies in the house and not eat them, so I try to avoid them most of the year. But come Christmas time, it is a free for all. And it is amazing. Not only do I get to eat all of my childhood favorites, but I get to have my little ones in the kitchen helping. Baking together creates some of my very favorite memories with my kiddos.
This week we tried out a new recipe, but we were having some trouble with the cookie sticking to the baking sheet and falling apart as we took them off. Luckily we had some Crisco® Original Oil on hand and it ended up saving the day! We’d actually grabbed it just a few days before while we were on a mad dash through Publix to get our supplies. I am constantly amazed by how much more enjoyable baking is when you don’t have to worry about everything sticking and falling apart. Crisco® Original Oil is truly my favorite and has been my go to since I started baking when I was a child. Now I am able to pass along that love to my own kids.
If you have a chocolate lover in your home, these Kissed by Honey Chocolate Cookies are for you. And if you are planning on doing basically any baking or cooking, do yourself a favor and get some Crisco® before you start. (Check out the Dessert Debate for recipes and coupons!)

My kiddos and I have a long list of recipes to bake before the month is out and we are now feeling more confident and inspired than ever before. What are your favorite memories of baking? Planning to do some this holiday season with your loved ones? I’d love to hear from you in the comments!
