My mom has always been my inspiration for my love of crafting and home decor from the time that I was in diapers continuing still today. Although we are close to 2,000 miles apart she remains the first person that I call when I am excited about a new project or stumped on where to put my favorite hurricane lamp. It was just good timing and sheer luck that we got to decorate my fall mantel together while she was visiting recently. Opening up my big box of goodies that I had ordered from Kirkland’s, full of #FallFinds, was like Christmas morning for the two of us. Wanna take a peek at what we came up with? Make sure to enter the giveaway at the bottom as well! It would go a looooong way to helping you with all of your holiday decor shopping.
And to make it all a bit more fun still, there are four blogs involved in the giveaway, which means four chances to get some great decorating ideas. I will have the links at the bottom so you can check them all out!
I am so in love with the beautiful and classic fall colors that were intertwined in all of the pieces that I used. Nothing says fall to me like red, orange, brown and yellow.
I am normally all about changing it up for holidays and thinking outside of the box, but it just doesn’t mesh with me for fall. I need the outdoors to be brought in, and these items all did exactly that for me.
A wreath on an old wood window frame stacked in front of a pallet sign added dimension and color and serves as a great focal point.
Cheery and bright, this faux sunflower bundle anchors one side.
While these pumpkins on pedestals complete the opposite side. I used some faux leaves that came with the vase filler under the pumpkins to add a bit of color as well.
I’m just in love with this sign. The size and colors of it make me so happy, and the quote is fantastic! The hint of gold and the varying fonts make it look like a million bucks! Not to mention the adorable burlap chevron pumpkin paired with it!

Too cute, right? I can’t get over that leaf!
This sweet little guy lights up with the most warm and beautiful glow. The metal leaves and small amount of distressing are perfect.
Pulling back a bit more, I made sure that my seating area was decked out for fall as well.
We have officially been living in southern states for seven years, so this throw pillow spoke to me. It’s amazing how quickly that one little word can creep into your vocabulary, y’all. 🙂
I simply threw some vase filler into a wood bowl for the accent table. The little berries on the vine were the perfect touch to curve with the bowl and fill in the small spaces.
Alright, now that you have seen my fall mantel, it’s time to enter to win a big ol’ gift card from Kirkland’s to help you with your own decor!
